Gotta try this sometime

One good thing about beeradvocate.com is that it suggests the food which goes with the beer. Also the type of glassware to be used ...kinda cool for a newbie like me ;)

In search of Delirium - Tremens

In search of the beer which I once had in Seattle with Dinesh and company I landed up with a whole lot of info.....

Found the beer I was looking for ....the one in white ceramic bottle with a pink elephant. Delirium Tremens

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delirium_Tremens_(beer)

Delirium Tremens was launched on 26 December

1989
. The beer uses three different yeasts
and is packaged in a bottle that is painted to resemble cologne
ceramics
. The label exemplifies different phases of the production of "Delirium Tremens" and that the "Pink Elephant" was up and ready to conquer the world.

In 1992, the "Confrerie van de Roze Olifant" (Brotherhood of the Pink Elephant) was founded to promote Delirium Tremens and other beers of Melle.....
